Poet and Artist

​Sterling Davis is a poet, screenwriter, and artist. He is the executive editor and publisher of Poetries in English Magazine. A semi-finalist for The Adroit Journal Gregory Djanikian Scholars program, his work has appeared or is forthcoming in swamp pink, African American Review, Poetries in English, Nimrod, Notre Dame Review, Southword, Westwind: UCLA's Journal of the Arts, Chiron Review, The Cortland Review, and other periodicals. He is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Gamma Sigma and the Poetry Society of America. Davis is a Umoja U2 Scholar and the program's English Tutor. A Studio Art student at Santa Ana College, Davis lives in Southern California.
